Job Summary
An open source software development company is in need of a Remote Distributed Systems Software Engineer.
Must be able to:
- Design and develop software for performance, reliability and cost-effectiveness at web scale
- Manage large scale infrastructure running on multiple data centers worldwide
- Embody and execute development and continuous delivery best practices
Position Requirements Include:
- Travel to biannual team retreats
- Expertise in large scale distributed systems
- 3+ years experience in designing and developing production-grade backend systems and APIs
- Strong knowledge of networking concepts, protocols and security (TCP/IP, UDP, HTTP, NTP, DNS, TLS etc)
- Operational experience with web-scale infrastructure on Public cloud deployments (AWS, GCP, Azure etc)
