Job Summary
A privately-held open source technology company has a current position open for a Remote Distributed Systems Software Engineer.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Designing and implementing features across the dqlite stack to solve the needs of LXD and its other consumers
- Assisting in debugging, tracking down and fixing issues encountered by users
- Participating in theengineering process through code and architectural review
Qualifications for this position include:
- Travel domestically and internationally several times a year (when it is deemed safe to resume travel)
- Good C programming experience
- Experience with distributed systems
- Solid understanding of asynchronous programming and concurrency patterns a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Degree level education,
