Job Summary
An agriculture and food cooperative is filling a position for a Remote District Sales Manager.
Must be able to:
- Drive demand (not Fulfill Demand) through the effective deployment and execution of resources
- Create demand at the grower level and through retail sellers to increase sales
- Train the technical side of the Crop Protection and Seed businesses
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Daily travel, extended hours and overnight travel required (40% or more travel)
- Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture or business-related field
- Minimum of 3 years successful sales experience or marketing with direct customer contact preferred
- Demonstrated computer skills in Microsoft suite of products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to work in a team environment
- All other requirements necessary for this position
