Job Summary

A staffing agency is seeking a Remote DMZ Engineer.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Provide DMZ/DDoS/B2B/VPN Infrastructure Architecture and Engineering and secured services
  • Troubleshoot a multivendor solution in the lab or POC solution
  • Create Firewall rules, NCD and design packages as needed

Required Skills:

  • Must have strong Routing, switching, Nexus, ASA and DMZ/B2B/ISP experience
  • Solid understanding of TCP/IP concepts, OSPF, BGP, VLAN, IPSEC, ISAKMP, etc
  • Familiar with best practices to install and deploy various Cisco routing and switching platforms
  • QoS & multicast configuration on IOS and NX-OS
  • Hands on with Nexus platforms such as 2k, 5k, 7k and 9k
  • Scripting languages for automation
