Job Summary
A military transition services provider is in need of a Remote DOL TAP Virtual Employment Facilitator.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Teaching / instructing Military personnel transition to civilian professional and vocational occupations
- Guiding Military Servicemembers in identifying goals and recognizing employment or education gaps
- Providing transitioning Servicemembers, family members, and Veterans an understanding for civilian life
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Some travel may be required
- An associate’s degree or 3+ years of experience as a professional trainer or facilitator
- Previous experience which demonstrates understanding of private and public sector employment processes
- Previous experience as a classroom instructor
- Previous experience teaching via virtual platforms such as Zoom, WebEX or Adobe Connect
- Knowledgeable of the workplace, jobs, and requirement for entry into those jobs
