Job Summary

A nonprofit company has an open position for a Remote Domestic Violence Helpline Advocate in Seattle.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Provide culturally competent and trauma informed support
  • Provides emotional support, safety planning, information, and community referrals
  • Incorporate trauma informed best practices

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • Commitment to the mission of domestic violence survivors
  • Willingness to learn about and promote equity and social justice
  • At least one year of experience providing survivor-centered advocacy and/or crisis line coverage
  • Knowledge about the dynamics of domestic violence
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
