Job Summary
A nonprofit company has an open position for a Remote Domestic Violence Helpline Advocate in Seattle.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Provide culturally competent and trauma informed support
- Provides emotional support, safety planning, information, and community referrals
- Incorporate trauma informed best practices
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Commitment to the mission of domestic violence survivors
- Willingness to learn about and promote equity and social justice
- At least one year of experience providing survivor-centered advocacy and/or crisis line coverage
- Knowledge about the dynamics of domestic violence
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
