Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Remote DRG Auditor will review and validate medical records for accuracy and compliance, ensuring correct coding and reimbursement.

Key responsibilities

• Review medical records and documentation for accuracy and compliance with coding standards
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to resolve discrepancies and ensure proper reimbursement
• Conduct audits and provide feedback to improve coding practices and reduce denials

Required qualifications

• Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) or equivalent certification
• Experience in DRG auditing and coding within a healthcare setting
• Strong understanding of medical terminology and coding guidelines
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment
