Remote Drug Alcohol Counselor

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Drug and Alcohol Counselor (Remote/Part-Time).

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide counseling to members through various communication methods to monitor progress on their recovery journey
• Conduct initial assessments and offer therapeutic strategies to help individuals deal with temptations and cravings
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure a positive member experience and provide feedback to the product development team

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in CBT and/or behavioral support for substance use disorders
• Hold an active state credential (license/certification) related to addiction counseling
• Proficient in evidence-based practices such as Motivational Interviewing and Relapse Prevention
• Ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals from different disciplines
• Hold a relevant credential recognized by a national credentialing body
