Job Summary

Director, Product Management - Drug & Health Services
Reporting to the Chief Product Officer, the Drug & Health Services Product Manager (D&HS- PM) will develop and drive a compelling strategy that educates, satisfies and is valued by prospects and clients. The right candidate is a confident, organized self-starter with first class communication and problem-solving skills. The D&HS-PM is accountable for the full end-to-end lifecycle of their product. This includes vision, charter, planning, requirements, development, testing, integration (partner systems), deployment, usage, adoption, client satisfaction and continuous improvement. Where required, the D&HS-PM will also develop product launch plans and all supporting documentation necessary for current and future releases or enhancements.

The D&HS_PM will partner with the business, ensuring the product is meeting the agreed-upon Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and trending at the right revenue levels. The D&HS-PM is the facilitator and planner for all aspects of the product lifecycle, driving the activities of the corresponding teams who build, integrate or enhance their product (aligned to the product roadmap via Agile methodology). The product will drive growth measurable through key performance indicators: product adoption, customer satisfaction, ease of use, revenue and margin generation. They work closely with clients, partners and all functions in the company including operations, engineering, sales, account management, compliance legal and client service.

Responsibilities:
Be the voice of the customer. Listen to the market (internal and external users) and clearly define the market problem. Use market information to drive short-term and long-term product roadmap priorities.
Act as a product ambassador internally and externally, as well as the product subject matter expert and the product's primary contact. Work with your team to translate the company's high-level vision and goals into actionable tasks, maintain a prioritized roadmap and timeline for platform features and user stories, and produce quality requirements, stories and acceptance requirements to inform the engineering efforts.
Work with project managers and technical leads to determine program and product development cycle scope and priorities, highlighting dependencies and risks.
Manage and own end-to-end product lifecycle for your product, including prioritization of bugs/enhancements, along with building and launching new offerings.
Track product performance metrics to ensure we are meeting or exceeding targets, and pivot product roadmap direction as necessary.
Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure product roadmap is aligned with stakeholder needs.
Create and drive improvements in product messaging and or positioning.
Analyze competitive landscape and become the team's expert on industry trends.

Position Requirements:
Minimum 5+ years of experience in a hands-on Product Owner or Product Manager role with proven experience of successfully launching drug and health services solutions.
Subject Matter Expert in Drug and Health
Background screening industry experience a PLUS
Product Owner Certification (CSPO or Pragmatic Marketing) a plus.
Customer focused with a passion for user experience.
Understands both the technical and business sides of the product and is ultimately responsible for representing the end user's needs.
Highly analytical with strong organizational skills.
Strong interpersonal, collaboration, relationship building and negotiating skills.
Track record in building and launching profitable products.
Excellent written and verbal communicator who is comfortable presenting to senior leadership and key clients.
Experience with day in the life client visits and synthesizing all market data into meaningful requirements to take the product to the next level.
Up to 25% travel (as necessary).
