Job Summary

A company is looking for a Statistician (Drug Safety Analyst) for a fully-remote contract opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify patterns and trends in adverse drug reactions (ADRs) to detect emerging safety signals
• Use statistical methods to detect potential safety issues from spontaneous reporting databases
• Create visual summaries to illustrate trends in ADRs and prepare detailed safety reports for regulatory submission

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in statistics, biostatistics, or a related field
• Knowledge of signal detection methods and ability to perform trend analysis on ADR data
• Skills in managing large datasets and using pharmacovigilance databases
• Strong report writing skills for clear and concise safety reports
• Understanding of regulatory requirements for drug safety reporting
