Job Summary

A non-profit organization. has an open position for a Remote East Africa Communications Intern.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Developing and updating profiles of ongoing projects and country portfolios
• Writing and editing publication-quality success stories, case studies, presentations, and other knowledge-sharing and marketing pieces
• Writing and editing copy for the website and other communications channels

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, English, Economics, Business, Anthropology, Sociology or other relevant field
• Have the proven ability to work independently
• Be an enthusiastic self-starter
• Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Be detail-oriented with the ability to produce documents that are clear and concise
• Have polished skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Publisher
