Job Summary

A media company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Eatery Features Editor.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Managing a full slate of feature pieces from start to finish
• Liaising with copy editors and fact-checkers, and brainstorming social/engagement strategy
• Setting the strategy for the Features department

Qualifications Include:

• An absolute minimum of 3 years experience working with high-quality, long-format stories
• Understanding of the editorial demands of long-lead, feature-length pieces published on the web
• A genuine passion for editing; a confident, thoughtful editorial style that inspires writers
• An uncanny ability to drill directly to the heart of any story
• An eye for spotting new talent, a deep rolodex of terrific writers
