Job Summary

A web hosting company has an open position for a Remote eCommerce Catalog Services Platform Senior Software Engineer.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Building next generation e-commerce services and APIs using JAVA
  • Working on cloud platform technologies on AWS using Kubernetes (EKS)
  • Designing and driving the implementation of the technical architecture working across multiple micro-services

Position Requirements Include:

  • Understanding of Linux and shell scripting
  • Java Services development (Spring, Vert.x)
  • Familiar with designing and using REST APIs and HTTP
  • Familiar with Github and Jenkins CI/CD
  • Experience working with databases and CRUD operations in MySQL and Cassandra/Dynamo
  • Familiar with Java module such as Micrometer, Spring security, Spring data, etc
