Job Summary

An e-commerce provider and online marketplace needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Ecommerce Engineering Manager.

Must be able to:

• Manage development projects, plan, track, communicate and deliver
• Act as the single point of contact for team members in functional, technical, and support clarifications
• Communicate progress, risks, expectations, timelines, milestones and other key project metrics to team members

Qualifications Include:

• 5+ years of development experience as an individual contributor and 3+ years in a management role
• Experience with development of high visibility consumer-facing e-commerce software including complex user interfaces
• Understanding of dynamic languages (Ruby, JavaScript, Python) and general software best practices
• Experience working with cloud-native hosting providers (AWS, Heroku), and various APIs and data models (REST, NoSQL)
