Job Summary
An eCommerce company has an open position for a Remote eCommerce Issuing Staff Engineer.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Identifying long-term technical challenges across distributed systems, batch processing, and data storage
- Aligning technical decisions with strategic initiatives, while advocating for needs specific to emerging new businesses
- Developing and executing against both short- and long-term roadmapping
Position Requirements Include:
- Have a strong technical background, including 10+ years of experience designing and engineering large-scale systems
- Have a track record of directing technical investment in new products
- Have served as the technical lead and defined the roadmap for complex projects spanning multiple teams and functions
- Ability to measure success in terms of business impact, not lines of code
