Job Summary
A non-profit organization needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Economist.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Creating viable transition models for factory farmers participating in our Transfarmation Project
- Conducting detailed research using insights from agricultural, behavioral, and experimental economics
- Collecting information from farmers regarding the economics of factory farming and potential plant-based models
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Attend and present research findings at relevant conferences
- Master's degree in a field of applied economics, such as agricultural or behavioral economics
- Three to five years of quantitative research experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Excellent research and analytical skills, with enthusiasm for finding and handling large and complex datasets
- Strong written and oral communication skills
