Job Summary

A venture-funded financial services company is seeking a Remote Editor.

Must be able to:

• Direct editorial strategy on all Mercury’s written content
• Create repeatable processes for putting out quality content on a regular schedule
• Write—long-form, short-form, lists, guides, interviews, scripts, and everything in between

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

• Have at least a couple years of professional writing and editing experience
• Have managed writers across multiple channels and topics
• Be able to write about tech companies, banking, software engineering, and business, all at once, while still sounding like a human
• Be able to set reasonable deadlines for creative work, and understand when to sacrifice speed for quality, and vice versa
