Job Summary

An online media company is filling a position for a Remote Editor.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Generating story ideas, assigning & editing engaging, trusted health content through publication, including working with SEO
  • Collaborating with designers, product managers, video producers & integrated marketing to conceive & produce smart editorial solutions
  • Working with the video team to produce a variety of video content, such as patient stories, expert interviews & animated explainer videos

Position Requirements Include:

  • 5+ years of digital journalism and content development experience
  • Strong background in health content, including the treatment and management of conditions and diseases
  • Ability to distill complex information into easily understandable and engaging information for users
  • Experience managing freelance writers and production partners
  • Contacts & sources in the health space such as HCPs, non-profit organizations & patient influencers
