Job Summary
A privately-held accounting and financial consulting services firm has an open position for a Remote Editor.
Must be able to:
- Provide editing and formatting of proposals, reports, and articles
- Prepare presentation materials and graphics (e.g., PowerPoint presentations, handouts, work samples, charts, diagrams)
- Work collaboratively with proposal writers, firm leadership, subject matter experts, compliance, and support functions to meet strict proposal deadlines
Position Requirements Include:
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Communication, or Marketing, or other combination of relevant education and experience in a business environment
- 3+ years of successful, demonstrable editing, proofreading, and formatting experience in a business development, sales, marketing, or research/publishing department
- Mastery of MS Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, with the ability to use built-in styles and develop clean, well-formatted documents
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively in multiple media, such as virtual meetings, email, and in person
- Experience with O365, Microsoft Planner, or other collaborative task and project management tools (a bonus)
