Job Summary

Providing effective telephonic interpretation, the independent contractor Remote Edo Interpreter will manage inbound calls, ensuring superior customer service and adherence to professional standards in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate telephonic remote interpreting for the Limited English Proficient community
• Answer inbound calls promptly and maintain high-quality service
• Adhere to the Code of Professional Conduct and industry-specific best practices

Required qualifications

• Full fluency in both English and Edo
• Proficiency with web-based platforms, email, and Microsoft Word
• A quiet and secure interpreting space free from distractions
• 1+ years of professional interpreting experience preferred
• Preferred industry-specific certifications/trainings (CMI, CCHI, Bridging the Gap, etc.)
