Remote EDS Display Designer

Job Summary

To support critical operations in a regulated environment, the contract Remote EDS Display Designer will configure and modify Emerson Ovation HMI graphics, ensuring high-performance displays for control rooms while integrating data streams from various industrial communication protocols.

Key responsibilities

• Build, modify, and configure Emerson Ovation HMI graphics and operational displays
• Map and link graphical elements to DCS/SCADA points and live process data tags
• Conduct Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) for display accuracy and troubleshooting during plant startup

Required qualifications

• 12-15 years of experience in HMI/SCADA design and configuration
• Expertise in Emerson Ovation architecture and familiarity with other systems (e.g., ABB, PLCs)
• Strong understanding of industrial communication protocols like Modbus and Ethernet/IP
• Knowledge of turbine and process control systems in power generation
• Experience working in regulated environments, such as nuclear facilities or public utilities
