Job Summary
A non-profit organization dedicated to helping parents of special needs children has an open position for a Remote Education Editor in New York City.
Must be able to:
- Develop content pieces for teachers and students to address learning and attention issues
- Assign, edit and revise the work of freelance writers
- Collaborate with educators to create and improve content
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- 5+ years of professional experience as an editor or writer in a similar capacity
- Completion of Bachelor level program
- Demonstrate knowledge of Common Core standards and creating standards-aligned content
- Strong editing and writing skills
- Experience in or knowledge of special education and/or learning disabilities field
