Remote Education Statistics Researcher
Job Summary
A non-profit behavioral and social science research organization is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Education Statistics Researcher.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Conducting quantitative analysis using NCES data
- Proposing analytic strategies and preparing analysis plans
- Drafting tabular, technical, short-format, and indicator reports
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Ph.D. in such fields as education, public policy, sociology, or other social science related field
- 4 years of relevant experience
- Proficient with basic statistics and quantitative research methods
- Proficient with statistical software packages such as SAS, STATA or R
- Experienced at manipulating and analyzing large data sets
