Remote EKG Monitor Technician

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Monitoring Technician.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret ECG data from live telemetry and retrospective recordings
• Identify and triage cardiac strips, escalating findings according to protocols
• Perform quality assurance on reports and communicate ECG abnormalities to physicians

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's degree in a related field preferred)
• At least 2 years of experience in EKG monitoring, telemetry, or remote cardiac monitoring
• Strong knowledge of cardiac rhythms, arrhythmias, and ECG interpretation
• Proficiency in using telemetry software and electronic health records (EHR)
• Must hold one of the required certifications
