Job Summary

A company is looking for an English Language Arts Teacher.

Key Responsibilities

Teach online ELA classes focusing on Reading & Speaking and Reading & Writing skills
Prepare and deliver well-structured lessons using the provided curriculum resources
Engage and manage a virtual classroom of up to ~10 students, grading work and providing feedback

Required Qualifications

Native-level English speaker with a strong command of American English
Preferred experience in U.S. public/private/charter school ELA teaching (1st-4th grade focus)
Bachelor's degree required; Education/ELA/English majors preferred
Strong understanding of elementary reading instruction and literacy development
Comfortable with online teaching technology and virtual classroom management
