Job Summary

A defense solutions company is filling a position for a Remote ElasticSearch LogStash and Kibana Senior Cloud Software Developer and Engineer in Riverdale.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Developing data pipelines to supply data archive centers with self-service log and metrics analysis services to aid in their transition to cloud
  • Participating in all aspects of the software development lifecycle from user story generation, through design, development, automated testing and operational support
  • Developing new feature ideas to meet the ever-evolving needs of our end-users

Qualifications for this position include:

  • Bachelor degree and at least 5 years of software engineering experience
  • 6+ years of experience as a Software Engineer
  • Experience developing data-driven applications with ELK (ElasticSearch, LogStash, Kibana)
  • Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) including at a minimum S3, IAM, Lambda, CloudFormation and Terraform
  • Experience describing application or development concepts using data visualizations and analytics
  • Firm commitment to automated testing and continuous integration
