Job Summary

A construction and mining equipment manufacturing company is seeking a Remote Electric Powertrain Principal System Architect.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Developing modular, scalable and leverageable enterprise platform e-solutions and product strategies
  • Architecting xEM electric power conversion and distribution system/ component electrical configurations­
  • Leading development of electric powertrain system, sub system, component, and control requirements

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
  • Experience with concepting, designing, and validating e-powertrain/drivetrain system, etc
  • Experience leading a proof-of-concept/concept to production launch role
  • Well versed with state-of-the-art electric power conversion system topologies
  • Experience with High/Medium/Low voltage power conversion and distribution systems design standards
  • Strong follow-through and self-starting nature and ability to execute tradeoff studies
