Job Summary
A staffing firm has a current position open for a Remote Electrical Controls Engineer in Tucson.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Traveling as required to Customer and supplier sites to perform installation, commissioning, and training tasks
- Debugging and commissioning software programs
- Performing engineering calculations
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Role is currently 100% remote and will switch back to an office environment when COVID-19 restrictions are lifted and the ability to travel internationally
- Advanced understanding of robotics, control systems, vision systems and machine operation
- 2-5 plus years of experience writing software and/or electrical design for automation systems
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- Advanced understanding with multiple of the following programming environments
- Successful experience troubleshooting equipment during all project phases
