Job Summary
A professional engineering services company is in need of a Remote Electrical Engineer.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Developing and/or reviewing conceptual and detailed design of solar plant electrical systems
- Developing and managing project execution in coordination with the rest of the team managing scope, deadlines, andbudget
- Preparing electrical studies including load flow, reactive power capability, short circuit, relay coordination, arcflash
Qualifications for this position include:
- Occasional work outdoors in harsh conditions
- Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering with emphasis on power systems with at least 2 years of work experience in renewables, power generations, power systems design or similar
- Engineer In Training / Fundamentals of Engineering certificate
- Must be a supportive team member, able to work in a collaborative environment as well as work on self-directed independent projects
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to write technical reports in English and proficient in MS Office
