Remote Elementary School Teacher

Job Summary

An educational company is in need of a Remote Elementary School Teacher.

Must be able to:

• Submit grades and required student work ensuring student academic honesty and integrity
• Prepare students for high stakes standardized tests
• Take ownership for students' academic progress and attendance

Required Skills:

• Ability to travel as required (on average once per month and/or approximately 10% of the time)
• 6 months of student teaching experience
• Bachelor's degree
• Meet requirements for Highly Qualified Teacher (HQT) in subject area under No Child Left Behind
• Pedagogical knowledge of content being taught and ability to apply critical thinking
• Knowledge of state content standards and ability to align those with the K12 curriculum
