Job Summary

A workplace safety company has an open position for a Remote Embedded Systems Director in New York City.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Manage 3-4 embedded engineers and allocate assignments in agile and scrum mode
• Own and operate the existing hardware platforms making iterative improvements, bug fixing and troubleshooting
• Work with Production and Manufacturing Teams to implement best-practices design for manufacturing (DFM)

Position Requirements Include:

• Completed BS or MS in one of Electrical Engineering, Computer Systems Engineering, Computer Science or similar experience
• 8-10+ years of experience implementing and maintaining embedded systems
• 6+ years of experience interfacing with design partners and hardware manufacturers
• 2+ years of experience in managing BOM
