Job Summary

A nonprofit IT company is filling a position for a Remote Emerging Technologies Software Engineer.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Modeling architectures of complex systems using standards-based languages
  • Developing prototypes using Java, Python and related programming languages
  • Evaluating and comparing alternative architectures using qualitative and quantitative techniques

Qualifications Include:

  • 2 + years of professional experience
  • Must be a U.S. citizen with ability to possess and maintain a DoD clearance
  • Proficiency in use of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel, and Word
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field
  • Expertise in object oriented programming to include: Java (required), Python, C#, C++, and C
  • Familiarity with SysML and UML modeling tools
