Job Summary
A provider of behavioral health services is seeking a Remote Employee Assistance Program Counselor in Chicago.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Provide short-term, solution focused counseling to employees
- Ensure continuity of patient care through contact with providers as needed
- Conduct brief telephonic and in-person, clinical assessments
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Local travel may be required to meet site specific utilization or organizational support needs
- Master’s in mental health discipline or associate’s in nursing with related psychiatric experience
- Current, valid and unrestricted IL state license in a mental health field
- 3 years direct practice experience in psychiatric or substance abuse treatment
- Collaboration and team-oriented work philosophy
- Analytical and problem-solving ability
