Remote Employee Benefits Regional Accounts Underwriter

Job Summary

A financial services company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Employee Benefits Regional Accounts Underwriter.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Apply sound, creative underwriting and business judgment in the timely analysis and evaluation of insurance risks
• Provide mentoring and training as appropriate based on job level and experience
• Perform math calculations including the use of algebraic formulas

Qualifications Include:

• Able to make recommendations for new processes or procedures
• Two to three years of progressively responsible work experience with emphasis in Employee Benefits underwriting
• Able to act as trainer and mentor for Associate Underwriters on the Regional Accounts Teams
