Job Summary
An open online course provider is in need of a Remote Employment and Litigation Senior Corporate Counsel in San Francisco.
Must be able to:
- Counsel HR team on policy implementation, employee relations matters, and investigations
- Counsel Recruiting team on recruiting processes and candidate conversations
- Support HR team’s work on immigration matters, including responses to RFEs
Skills and Requirements Include:
- JD with admission to California Bar in good standing or registration to practice in-house in California
- 5+ years’ relevant experience practicing employment law, preferably in an in-house environment
- Comprehensive knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws
- Experience working with PEOs to facilitate international hiring
- Litigation experience, including managing civil litigation, pre-litigation disputes, arbitration, and regulatory inquiries
- Experience maintaining confidentiality
