Job Summary

A company that specializes in providing clean energy solutions has a current position open for a Remote Energy Industry Counsel.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Providing counsel to management and project teams
  • Reviewing, interpreting, drafting and negotiating project documents such as power purchase agreements
  • Providing counsel on legal issues identified by asset management in connection with operating projects

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • JD and strong academic record from a leading law school and license to practice law
  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience as an attorney at a major law firm or with an in-house legal department
  • Experience advising clients with respect to project finance and development matters
  • Demonstrated aptitude to understand complex and new technologies, systems, innovations and business concepts
  • Ability to obtain and review complex information and articulate conclusions and associated recommendations
  • Ability to review, interpret, draft and negotiate financing documents, include tax equity structures and debt financing
