Job Summary

An intelligence firm needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Energy Transition Metals Reporter.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Leading our coverage of battery metals (nickel, cobalt, lithium)
  • Providing daily coverage of the mining sector's role in the energy transition
  • Digging deep into investment decisions among industry leaders

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

  • Bachelor's degree in journalism or related field. Approximately 2 to 5 years of journalism experience
  • Must have an affinity for analyzing numbers, using in-house data intelligence, financial reports
  • Fluency in English is necessary
  • Knowledge of metals and mining sector or commodities markets an advantage
  • Command of journalistic best practices (AP style, libel issues, etc.)
  • Must be able to juggle daily assignments and longer-term enterprise features
