An electronic communications company has an open position for a Remote Engineering Director.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Reviewing and challenging technical decisions, foster technical roadmap discussions
- Being at the top of escalation chain for the business unit
- Attracting and inspiring managerial and technical talent
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Occasional travel may be required for this position
- 10+ years industry experience
- Strong multi-disciplinary organizational skills with strong people and conflict management abilities
- Deep understanding and experience in software architecture/software engineering
- Comprehensive understanding of Agile engineering principles
- Bachelors/Masters in CS or equivalent
