Job Summary

A global software development company has a current position open for a Remote Engineering Director.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Provide leadership, direction, and oversight of multiple distributed development teams
• Deliver timely, well architected, and high-quality software
• Ensure a consistent, reliable, and scalable software architecture across all development teams

Required Skills:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 4+ years of relevant engineering management experience, including leading multiple teams
• 5+ years of experience developing software with large scale web applications
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in full-stack web development using Java
• Experience managing remote and geographically distributed teams
• Experience with (micro) service-oriented and event-driven system architectures
