Job Summary
A shipping software company has a current position open for a Remote Engineering Director.
Must be able to:
- Execute on the strategy for your product areas
- Initiate progressive changes to elevate the teams to achieve the next level of operational efficiency
- Be a decision maker around architecture, scalability, performance, availability, maintainability, etc
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- 10+ years experience in engineering management and proven track record of building for scale
- BS/MS in Computer science, or related field, or equivalent experience with demonstrated proficiency
- Superb interpersonal skills and problem-solving skills
- Experience with highly-scaled or high-volume systems
- Have passion for continuous improvement
- Experience leading a group of developers in a high-pace high-demand agile environment
