Job Summary
A location intelligence company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Engineering Director.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Act as a project manager for ongoing development projects and timelines
- Work closely with CTO on roadmap, allocation of resources and priorities
- Build and maintain strong and effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Qualifications for this position include:
- Relational databases (Postgres & PostGIS, MongoDB) experience
- Ruby on Rails experience
- Javascript with front-end frameworks like React & jQuery experience
- Services such as Elasticsearch, Redis, Glusterfs, Grafana, Node.js experience
- Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native infrastructure; Linux systems experience
