A staffing and recruitment agency has an open position for a Remote Engineering Director in Iowa City.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Team building and engineering culture leadership
- Establishing and sustaining a culture guided by the engineering departments vision and values
- Communicating clearly with other team leaders about priorities and expectations for feature delivery
Qualifications for this position include:
- Our client is a 100% remote company, so you will not have to relocate, bult will be expect to travel to headquarters as needed for meetings
- Engineering leadership experience with demonstrable results and concrete theories of leadership and management
- Experience interfacing between technical and non-technical teams
- Experience with Kubernetes, service-oriented architecture, data security and integrity
