Job Summary
A company that acts as a personal health manager is filling a position for a Remote Engineering Director in San Francisco.
Must be able to:
- Partner with product, business, and operations to define roadmaps, timelines, and technical strategy
- Examine technology, organizational resources and the external demands to advise on impact and practicality of engineering efforts
- Develop policies, standards, and procedures for engineering teams
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- 8+ years of professional experience in software engineering, with experience in technical and organizational leadership
- 3+ years of experience in management
- Experience in building and maturing engineering teams in a startup environment
- Experience building and scaling backend software systems and infrastructure
- Ability to work independently in a fast paced, unstructured environment
- Ability to balance business needs and make pragmatic decisions
