Job Summary

An e-commerce community and online marketplace is seeking a Remote Engineering Foundations Director.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Shape the vision and technical strategy for your domains
• Mentor, coach, and grow your team, with a focus on empowering managers and leaders. Prioritize hiring and attract top talent
• Lead engineering-wide initiatives to drive successful outcomes now and over time

Required Skills:

• Familiarity with compliance programs, such as SOX and GDPR, and data privacy principles
• At least 4 years of engineering leadership experience
• Experience leading teams that own a diverse range of business critical infrastructure
• A history of deeply collaborating with engineering leaders and cross-functional partners to achieve shared goals
• A track record of successfully navigating large initiatives with complexity across application and infrastructure layers
