An online research website for electronics is filling a position for a Remote Engineering Manager in New York City.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Leading, coaching, and mentoring a team of software engineers
- Giving constructive feedback to help your direct reports grow in their careers
- Improving software delivery and operational processes
Skills and Requirements Include:
- 2+ years of engineering management experience, prior software development
- A willingness and desire to build teams that others will learn from
- An interest in promoting an inclusive team culture where engineers of diverse backgrounds can grow and contribute
- A collaborative and growth-oriented mindset
- Experience advocating for the engineers who report to you and guiding Product and Design partners, when needed
- Ideally managed or worked with a distributed or hybrid distributed/collocated team
