Job Summary
An educational technology and publishing company is seeking a Remote Engineering Program Management Director.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Ensure effective operations across Scrum teams aligned to multiple Agile Release Trains
- Manage cross organizational progress, progress of features and capabilities for visibility and transparency
- Manage risks and dependencies across teams of teams
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- A deep understanding and the ability to apply both the theoretical and practical aspects of agile development
- Experience in a complex project and program management role with 10+ years leading Scrum teams; 6+ in management
- Proven experience coordinating feature delivery across 30+ Scrum teams
- Work with teams to interpret data and identify opportunities in efficiency
- Partner with external vendors to support ongoing initiatives
- Understand implications of process, reliability, scalability, operational costs, ease of adoption by organization
