Job Summary

A software development company has a current position open for a Remote Engineering Vice President.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Provide insight and strategic thinking to the executive team
• Work closely with the executive team to plan product strategy, create an execution plan, and bring it to life
• Oversee the engineering function and team of four engineering managers and 18 engineers

Position Requirements Include:

• The team gathers twice a year for fantastic virtual or in-person retreats
• Have a strong background in developing applications using Ruby on Rails
• Have extensive experience shepherding an Engineering team at a growth stage product-driven SaaS company
• Be an expert in using business and product metrics to make decisions and drive direction
• Have experience leading teams to quickly ship well-tested features with a consistent cadence
