Job Summary
A provider of business software has a current position open for a Remote Engineering Vice President.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Participating in building a roadmap and developing long-term team vision
- Managing the performance and career development of your teams
- Working closely with other Engineering and Product team members to support initiatives
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- 7+ years of experience in Software Engineering management
- 5+ years of hands-on programming experience with PHP and/or Node.js
- Deep understanding of eCommerce topics and challenges
- Deep understanding of AWS and cloud architecture
- Exposure to Elastic Search
- Expert knowledge of computer science, with a strong understanding of architecture in large-scale, distributed systems
