Job Summary
A translation company is filling a position for a Remote Engineering VP.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Developing the full strategy process for engineering
- Managing, developing, and growing a distributed team (currently) of 40+ engineers, while promoting a culture of high performance and agility
- Leading high-level technical initiatives, including the transition to AWS
Skills and Requirements Include:
- 5+ years of experience working as a software engineering senior manager in a fast-growing startup
- Experience developing SaaS platforms at scale
- Hands-on experience with localization
- In-depth knowledge of agile processes and principles, as well as of the values of servant leadership,
- Proficiency in modern technology architecture, infrastructure, and software practices. Namely, using technologies like AWS, Symfony, Node.js, and React
- A product-driven mindset and experience working in close cooperation with product managers and designers to build high-quality experiences and architectures
