Remote Enterprise Monitoring Analyst
Job Summary
Supporting the VA ESOM contract, the full-time Remote Enterprise Monitoring Analyst will enhance event management capabilities through continuous monitoring, alert analysis, and application performance oversight while working remotely within the United States during Eastern Time hours.
Key responsibilities
- Provide support for event management capabilities, including dashboard monitoring and alert analysis
- Notify system owners of detected issues within 15 minutes to maintain optimal system health
- Recommend improvements to the VA monitoring environment and refine monitoring processes for application infrastructure
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, electronics engineering, or a related technical discipline
- 5 years of relevant experience in application performance monitoring
- Experience with tools such as Dynatrace, SolarWinds, and ServiceNow for performance monitoring and reporting
- Ability to serve as a subject matter expert for application performance monitoring tools
- 8 years of additional relevant experience may substitute for education
